I have found a renewed love for creating layouts again. I have a couple more in progress that I'll post in the next couple of weeks. This layout is part of the Simple Pages/Simple Projects July Collection. The templates are absolutely beautiful and versatile. Use them as digital templates (which I have yet to do but want to explore in the future) or be inspired from it as a sketch.
This layout is part of Nyna's 3rd grade album. I've been wanting to write this story about "Friendships" for a while now. It was such a big part of her life this past school year.
journaling reads:
This has been the year of navigating a new territory called "Friendships". You've been doing a lot of questioning about fairness, sharing, and kindness. You're paying close attention to the words that you use and the words of others. I can see how difficult it has been for you. There's been nights of crying. We talk it out. I give you scenarios, not the answers. I want you to be able to try and resolve these situations on your own, of course, always with my guidance.
I want you to know that I'm so proud of you baby girl! You're truly coming into your own. You have grown so much this past year. Learning to stand up for yourself and to speak up for other kids. You've learned that it's okay to make your own choices, even if it means not being a part of the group.
Love You, Mommy
