to CONNECT:
be or become joined or united or linked;
join for the purpose of communication;
establish a rapport or relationship;
get in touch: establish communication with someone;
This word has been on my mind the last few weeks. I feel the days go by so quickly and through all of the busy-ness that goes on around us...school and work, I want to find a place where we or I have time to connect; with myself, my girls, my husband, my parents (even in-laws), my siblings, my friends (both on and off-line).
These connections in my life are wonderful testament to who I am as a person, mother, wife and friend. And I want to continue to honor them through small bits of time that we have together.
Like more family meals together - which my target clearance placements (in the above photo) make more enjoyableor
Snuggling in our favorite sofa to read a good book or just to talk (our special place as Nyna calls it)
or
Hanging out with friends to catch up
or
Watching Heroes with Dre after the girls are asleep (i know...we're probably the only people that still watch the show...but i digress)
...................................
So what does it mean to you? What do you do to strengthen those connections?
Great word!!!

Love the word! I connect with people everyday at work so sometimes I would like to disconnect. We make a date night without the kids to connect. TFS!

That is a great word and I think in every day to day life we sometimes loose the meaning of it.
