I am loving this new collaboration kit called Going Places from One Little Bird Designs and the Ardent Sparrow. The bright and muted colors appeals to me. This kit fit also fit perfectly with this month's story starter theme of "Adventures."
I chose the following story starter: Write about an especially memorable outdoor adventure
Of all of the stories that I could choose, I decided to focus on my husband's adventure to the lake. He rarely gets time to fish and having this time to chill, listen to music and possibly catch some fish was a perfect way for him to spend the day.

I love both of these layouts! Your girls' first experience of the ocean reminds me of the first time I actually saw the Big Dipper, at 18. I couldn't believe it was real! :)
